GP Training

GP Specialty Registrars

For many years the practice has been proud to train the next generation of GPs.

We usually have one or two GP Specialty registrars with us at any one time who are fully qualified doctors undergoing specialist postgraduate training in General Practice.

Our registrars undergo daily supervision by the Partners.

Medical Students

We regularly host Medical Students from both the University of Cambridge and the University of East Anglia. They normally have scheduled sessions with patients who have been invited to assist with training. However at times they will sit in with the GPs & Nurses to get an idea as to how General Practice operates. If your appointment is affected by this you will be informed in advance. If you do not wish to be seen with a student you have the right to ask for them not to be present. You may do this at any time without it affecting your care in any way.
